NewsAction Cancer Big Bus at Triangle!
Triangle recognises the importance of employee health and wellbeing and as a result has introduced a Workplace Health Plan. Chris Alexander, Chief Executive of Triangle demonstrated the organisation’s strategic commitment by signing the Business in the Community’s ‘Action on Health Pledge’. Chris Alexander stated “I am delighted to sign this pledge as everyone benefits, including our business. Our staff are our most valuable resource. A healthy workforce results in reductions in sickness absence, greater staff engagement and productivity”. Also pictured are, Business in the Community representatives Tanya Kennedy, Workplace Director and Hilda Spires, Campaign Manager. Tanya commended Triangle’s commitment stating “Investment in the health and well-being of staff not only raises morale within the workplace leading to clear business benefits, but achieves wider community and society impact by improving the overall health of our working age population and their families”. As part of the Workplace Health Plan, Michelle Burnett, Human Resources Manager invited the Action Cancer Big Bus to provide breast screening services and general health checks for staff and their relatives. Michelle Burnett stated “Our staff were very impressed by the Action Cancer Big Bus and benefited greatly from the health and well-being services”.
